Alan Pecora is a Partner in Insero’s Trusts and Estates Group with more than 30 years of experience advising individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners on complex estate, trust, and wealth transfer matters. Combining his backgrounds as a Certified Public Accountant and attorney, Alan helps clients navigate sophisticated tax and estate planning strategies designed to preserve wealth and achieve long-term family and charitable goals.
His expertise includes trust and estate income taxation, estate and gift tax planning, generation-skipping transfer tax planning, fiduciary income tax compliance, business succession planning, charitable giving strategies, and college funding planning. Alan is responsible for the preparation and review of estate tax, gift tax, generation-skipping tax, and fiduciary income tax returns for Insero clients and works closely with attorneys, trustees, and high-net-worth individuals to implement tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.
Alan has developed a specialty in advising trusts and estates that own business interests and in designing charitable planning solutions through trusts, private foundations, and community foundations. He is also a frequent speaker on estate planning, fiduciary taxation, and education funding strategies, having presented for professional organizations, colleges, and community groups throughout New York.
